10 – The Natchez Trace Parkway. This is the largest national park east of the Mississippi River. It begins in Natchez, Mississippi and transverses the entire state. You won't find many national treasures the magnitude of this majestic National Park.

4 – Shepard State Park. Take a detour to Ocean Springs, Mississippi and camp out for a few days at Shepard State Park. This park is a gorgeous location that has all the amenities that any camper would need. You'll love staring up at the stars in the gorgeous southern sky.

3 – Kid's Town Playground. If the kids are feeling restless and want to cut loose, take them to Kid's Town Playground in Clinton, Mississippi.
