Polar Regions
The earths Polar Regions have been looked over in the last decade with the global warming awareness, while two decades Antarctica was strictly used as a seasonal research facility, tourism has grown to the southernmost regions creating a whole new scope of attractions. Including cruises, travel guides and helicopter tours. In the Arctic with melting ice caps there is great debate over international water markers, oil and gas explorations have found great reserves in new found areas which were once covered with ice. While there is much debate over who has explorations rights to determined areas, the global warming issue is often put aside in favor of more exploration and drilling.
